What is FieldSize?
FieldSize is an iOS app for measuring, marking, and maintaining soccer and athletic fields. It includes tools for quick field sizing, field notes, adaptive re-paint schedule predictions based on local rainfall, and smart scheduling with game schedule sync.
Which platforms is FieldSize available on?
FieldSize is available on iOS only and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store. Android is not currently supported.
Why do you need a zip code?
We use the zip code to help predict re-marking schedules based on local rainfall, so you know when each field will likely need to be re-painted.
How does the re-paint prediction work?
Per-field adaptive learning uses local rainfall data and your painting history to predict the next re-mark date for each field, so you can plan ahead instead of guessing.
What is schedule sync?
You can create fields and name them however helps you remember. Schedule sync connects the system your league uses to schedule games, so you can get notifications like “This field is needed on Saturday but will need re-marking before then.”
How many fields can this manage?
You can manage one field for free. With a subscription there is no limit to the number of fields you can manage.
Does each person on my painting team need to pay for the app?
No. Only one member needs to pay for the subscription and can then invite other members for free. Anyone invited can mark fields as painted and create or remove fields.
